As it’s Valentine’s Day in less than two weeks (Yes boys – it really is that soon!) I thought I’d share some of my favourite romantic sets to get you in the mood for love. Isn’t this a jaw-dropper? This is at the top of my hit list for a flirty February. You just can’t go wrong with a polka dot print; team it with a retro balcony shape, gathering detail and a pop of colour with a red micro bow and BOOM – here we have the perfect mix of cutesy and sex appeal.

Mimi Holliday: Fondant Lace Corset Bra
This is not a safe option for a ‘normal’ gift, but I think for Valentines it’s lovely to receive something a bit sexy – without compromising on fit. The gorgeous eyelash lace gives a really luxe finish, but the suspender belt and classic black really vamps it up. I bet this would make you feel a million dollars.

Curvy Kate: Tease Me
If you’re on a bit of a budget but still want something ineffably gorgeous, why not try the Curvy Kate Tease Me – now available at a cut price on Brastop? This is one of the most comfortable, sexy bras in this size range; perfect for the office or the boudoir. A practical set with a knockout cleavage, soft lace, ribbon and a stunning colour range… what more could a girl want? I’ve even done a full review for you and everything.

Curvy Kate: Thrill Me
Any regular reader will know of my love for the Tempt Me. It’s unashamedly sexy with a gorgeous cleavage – working especially well on my wider-set assets. A must-try for any lingerista. Check out my review for more info.

Masquerade by Panache: Rhea
Nothing seems to give that ‘Marie Antoinett’e décolletage quite like the Rhea. The silky fabric and beautiful colour-ways make this a great choice to make the lady in your life feel a bit special. Not feeling brave enough for this wine option? It also comes in black which is equally as lovely. It got a high score in my review last year, too.

Masquerade by Panache: Capella
This is a new season release by the decadent Masquerade and it is one to watch for Spring/Summer 2012. The shape and fit is sublime and the innovative printed lace is simply stunning. Something for a bit of a grown up seduction. Review coming soon!

Based on one of my favourite fitting bras in my collection – the Zara – the Beau is on my wish list for this season. Freshly released in January, it’s the perfect Valentines gift for someone who’s style is more cutesy than sexy. And available up to an H cup – hooray!.

The sexier choice from Freya would have to be the Lyla in black and red. This classic colour combination can feel a bit overdone, but the Lyla’s sheer cups makes it bang up to date and oh-so sexy.

Parfait by Affinitas: Charlotte
I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again: this bra is an absolute winner. Again a black and red bra, but nothing boring or predictable about it. I can’t get enough of this set and I still can’t get over how happy I am that I can wear their 30 band in this style with no problem. May I recommend this exact version of the set: the high-waisted knickers and the padded bra with the sweetheart neckline – I can’t live without mine!

Parfait by Affinitas: Fiona Camisole
I’ve not had the pleasure of trying this one myself, but Holly Jackson gave it a rave review on The Lingerie Addict, and the jewel colours are just to die for. This is a great option if your girl has a bit of a tummy that they’d rather cover up, or even to be worn as part of the ‘underwear as outerwear’ trend. I for one would have no hesitation wearing this on a night out as a top or peekaboo item. Yum! Again – this comes in a 30 band and above, however with the majority of Parfait pieces I’ve tried a 30 is a snug enough fit for me.
