This is something I believe in so strongly, so when the lovely June from Braless in Brasil asked me to support her #diversityinlingerie campaign, I didn’t have to think twice. Continue reading “Diversity in Lingerie”
It may be nearing the end of the Summer, but if like me you’ve been planning (multiple) holidays that never seem to materialise, or are hoping to miss all the school-holiday rush and are planning a late-summer retreat, then you’ve probably got a little bit of a case of the pre-holiday jitters, mainly circulating around the concept of getting into your bikini. In public. Continue reading “The Secret to Holiday Body Confidence”
I have to say, with weather like we’re having in the UK at the moment (and long may it continue, pretty please!) I have to admit that most days I’ve rarely been out of a bikini, whether I’ve been on the beach or in the office. When you’re a bit, ahem, hot and sweaty, there’s no bra that feels quite as comfortable as a bikini, and since mine rarely get an airing, I’ve been using any excuse to actually wear them for a change!
Since the sun is shining and it’s SUCH a beautiful day here in the UK (that’s right folks, not a cloudy in the sky here in Blighty!), I was rummaging around in my ‘to review’ pile (some delights and some disasters in there let’s put it that way) and thought – now’s not the time to get negative – it’s time to share my latest lingerie love with you.
So forgive me, I’m about to sip some Pimms in my suntrap back garden and wax lyrical about the lovely Melissa by Cleo. Continue reading “Cleo by Panache ‘Melissa’: Bra Review”
After pretty much falling in love with Tutti Rouge’s ‘Liliana’ (so darn pretty!), when I got my hands on the Tutti Rouge Betty (the set that I was perhaps looking forward to most out of Tutti Rouge’s SS13 offerings) I can’t help but feel that, despite her gorgeous exterior, unfortunately she’s prettier than she is perfect.
That said, I love her all the same. Why, I hear you ask? Continue reading “Tutti Rouge Betty: Bra Review”
Before you all have a heart attack – yes I am posting my fourth review of the week: the Freya Holly Dolly. After being a bit MIA for the past few months (sorry about that!) I’m finally back on this blogging malarky, and I’m sure you can imagine I’ve got quite a backlog of products to review for you guys. This Spring/Summer has been so strong in the full-bust-lingerie world, so I’ve picked up loads of things that I simply couldn’t resist – and here is one of them!
Ask and you shall get, readers! After a quick poll on my Twitter and Facebook pages, a few of you said you’d next like to see my review of the Tutti Rouge Liliana next. I’m smashing out the reviews this week; making up for lost time and I’ve got so many sets to show you!
When I clocked this style back in August at the Moda trade show, it’s not one that immediately rocked my socks. Sure, it’s hella pretty, with a gorgeous ‘floriental’ print, but with all the bright colours and kitsch prints that go hand in hand with Freya’s Spring/Summer 2013 collection, the Babes in The Wood range was a little lost amongst the noise.
It seems like such a long time since I did a bra review, so I’m really excited to share with you one of the sets that I have been most excited about over the past few months: Freya’s ‘Secret Garden’.
Set to me by the glorious Mish Online, it wasn’t one of my personal choices from their website (the site is jam-packed with a great collection from all IIYC’s favourite brands!), and was sent when another set sold out. I am now so glad that happened, as I’ve worn this set to death over Spring so far. Continue reading “Freya Secret Garden Padded Half Cup: Bra Review”
Since Becky very sadly had to go see her favourite band of all time and missed out on the last Moda show, she’d not seem these collections ‘in the flesh’, so she was particularly keen to go along to Eveden’s press event for their Spring/Summer 2013 collections for their brands Freya, Fantasie, Elomi and Huit.
