Hello dear readers – you may be surprised to see that today’s post is a bra review, after what seems like forever since I posted my last one. Thankfully, it’s a good’un and one of the nicest bras I’ve seen from Freya Lingerie in quite a while – in the form of Freya Tropics.
I roped in a pal to help me with this one as she has recently changed bra size and is somewhat of a Freya Deco junkie so I wanted to help her try something else. Continue reading “Freya Tropics: Bra Review”
When it comes to buying bras, or anything for that matter, I’m what can only be described as a ‘massive bargain hunter’. It’s extremely rare that I’ll buy anything full price, and my lingerie addiction rarely evades this philosophy. The good news is there are so so so many options for frugal frillies – so for those of you waiting on payday or your student loan, you needn’t wait to kit out your top drawer! Moda time is one of my favourite times of year. There’s nothing I love more than popping around the stalls and seeing what my favourite brands have to offer in the coming seasons – or even better – finding a new favourite brand to drool over!
This year was no different, with a fair few ‘must haves’ from the likes of Gossard, Tutti Rouge, Freya, Panache and more. Continue reading “Moda: Lingerie Trend Report Autumn/Winter 2014”
I have to say, with weather like we’re having in the UK at the moment (and long may it continue, pretty please!) I have to admit that most days I’ve rarely been out of a bikini, whether I’ve been on the beach or in the office. When you’re a bit, ahem, hot and sweaty, there’s no bra that feels quite as comfortable as a bikini, and since mine rarely get an airing, I’ve been using any excuse to actually wear them for a change!
Before you all have a heart attack – yes I am posting my fourth review of the week: the Freya Holly Dolly. After being a bit MIA for the past few months (sorry about that!) I’m finally back on this blogging malarky, and I’m sure you can imagine I’ve got quite a backlog of products to review for you guys. This Spring/Summer has been so strong in the full-bust-lingerie world, so I’ve picked up loads of things that I simply couldn’t resist – and here is one of them!
When I clocked this style back in August at the Moda trade show, it’s not one that immediately rocked my socks. Sure, it’s hella pretty, with a gorgeous ‘floriental’ print, but with all the bright colours and kitsch prints that go hand in hand with Freya’s Spring/Summer 2013 collection, the Babes in The Wood range was a little lost amongst the noise.
It seems like such a long time since I did a bra review, so I’m really excited to share with you one of the sets that I have been most excited about over the past few months: Freya’s ‘Secret Garden’.
Set to me by the glorious Mish Online, it wasn’t one of my personal choices from their website (the site is jam-packed with a great collection from all IIYC’s favourite brands!), and was sent when another set sold out. I am now so glad that happened, as I’ve worn this set to death over Spring so far. Continue reading “Freya Secret Garden Padded Half Cup: Bra Review”
I’m a sucker for a campaign which combines two of my dearest loves: lingerie and music, so when the lovely guys and gays at Freya Lingerie announced their romantic Freya Heartbeats campaign, I fell for it hook, line and sinker.
Their latest interactive campaign, (this is quite a year for Freya’s fun competitions, no?) encourages users to submit their couple’s love song to the Freya Heartbeats playlist on Spotify. Continue reading “Freya Heartbeats: win lingerie and a trip to Paris with Freya Lingerie”
It goes without saying that with Valentine’s Day just a few weeks away (that’s right, you heard it here first guys and gals!) I simply couldn’t resist throwing one of these together. Continue reading “Valentine’s Lingerie Wishlist 2013”
