Moda: Lingerie Trend Report Autumn/Winter 2014

Moda time is one of my favourite times of year. There’s nothing I love more than popping around the stalls and seeing what my favourite brands have to offer in the coming seasons – or even better – finding a new favourite brand to drool over! This year was no different, with a fair few ‘must haves’ from the likes of Gossard, Tutti Rouge, Freya, Panache and more. Warning: this season is not for the shy – I’ve put together a summary of some of the trends I spotted weaving their way through each of the collections, with neon bright shades, oriental, strong colours and bold florals making a strong statement.

(Just Before) Winter Fashion

Bird print jumper, Monki (similar here) I don’t want to admit it – you don’t want to admit it. But yes, it’s coming: British Winter. It’s inevitable, and yet, whenever the time comes around, I’m always saddened. I can handle the ominous looming of golden leaves and the ‘will it or won’t it’ sun forecasts, but the time I can’t stand is when you wake up in the morning before the sun has risen and by the time you leave work in the evening it’s, well, dark. It’s called Greenwich ‘Mean’ Time for a reason.

How I protect and organise my lingerie collection for £2

Not only is it vitally important that you hand wash your bras correctly to preserve their life, how you store them can also massively impact how long your bras last and how they keep their shape.

Curvy Kate Horizon Halterneck Bikini Review

I have to say, with weather like we’re having in the UK at the moment (and long may it continue, pretty please!) I have to admit that most days I’ve rarely been out of a bikini, whether I’ve been on the beach or in the office. When you’re a bit, ahem, hot and sweaty, there’s no bra that feels quite as comfortable as a bikini, and since mine rarely get an airing, I’ve been using any excuse to actually wear them for a change! Not only this, I’ve also seen this as a pretty stellar excuse to get my hands on some more – and the Curvy Kate Horizon Halterneck bikini was one of the sets at the top of my list.

Cleo by Panache ‘Melissa’: Bra Review

Since the sun is shining and it’s SUCH a beautiful day here in the UK (that’s right folks, not a cloudy in the sky here in Blighty!), I was rummaging around in my ‘to review’ pile (some delights and some disasters in there let’s put it that way) and thought – now’s not the time to get negative – it’s time to share my latest lingerie love with you. So forgive me, I’m about to sip some Pimms in my suntrap back garden and wax lyrical about the lovely Melissa by Cleo.

Tutti Rouge Betty: Bra Review

After pretty much falling in love with Tutti Rouge’s ‘Liliana’ (so darn pretty!), when I got my hands on the Tutti Rouge Betty (the set that I was perhaps looking forward to most out of Tutti Rouge’s SS13 offerings) I can’t help but feel that, despite her gorgeous exterior, unfortunately she’s prettier than she is perfect. That said, I love her all the same. Why, I hear you ask?

Freya Hello Dolly: Bra Review

Freya Hello Dolly Review

Before you all have a heart attack – yes I am posting my fourth review of the week: the Freya Holly Dolly. After being a bit MIA for the past few months (sorry about that!) I’m finally back on this blogging malarky, and I’m sure you can imagine I’ve got quite a backlog of products to review for you guys. This Spring/Summer has been so strong in the full-bust-lingerie world, so I’ve picked up loads of things that I simply couldn’t resist – and here is one of them!

Tutti Rouge Liliana: Bra Review

Ask and you shall get, fair readers! After a quick poll on my Twitter and Facebook pages, a few of you said you’d next like to see my review of the Tutti Rouge Liliana next. I’m smashing out the reviews this week; making up for lost time and I’ve got so many sets to show you!

On a Bank Holiday weekend, at the first glance of sunshine, we Brits are out like a flash, dressed in clothes which it’s probably not hot enough to wear, probably as white as sheets and probably not wearing sun screen. I decided – upon reading the weather forecast was going to be cloudy, with sun and a whole 12 degrees – to pop down to a local sun spot – Lulworth Cove.
