We’ve been well and truly treated by this year’s Star in a Bra competitions. We’ve had the drop-dead-gorgeous UK winner Sophie Morgan, and joining her this week is the first ever US winner, Krista Cousins.
30GG Krista, 24 from Brooklyn, New York, beat hundreds of other hopefuls through two gruelling voting rounds. She will front Curvy Kate‘s award-winning marketing campaigns – includes flights to the UK to appear in the brand’s Autumn/Winter 2013 brochure.
Krista said in her Curvy Kate blog interview: ‘I want to prove to the world that women are beautiful in all colours, shapes and sizes. The Star in a Bra model search was about so much more than modelling beautiful lingerie; it was about accepting yourself, having the confidence in your curves and showing women everywhere that beauty comes in all shapes and sizes. If you’ve got it flaunt it.’
Did anyone spot my tweet about Krista’s hilarious promotional Youtube videos? She made two amazing parody music videos, changing the lyrics of Carly Rae Jepsen’s ‘Call Me Maybe’ to ‘Vote Me Baby‘ and had me in fits of laugher with her LMFAO adaption.
She continued “The time for a beautiful, busty, body revolution is now and I am very prepared to lead us all to victory.”
Congratulations, Krista!
I’m delighted that two of my favourite bloggers made second and third place: Cristyen Fowler and Brittany Jencks.
Brittany in particular is a huge inspiration to me and this blog and I’ve been a reader of her blog Thin and Curvy for the best part of two years.
All of the top 10 looked amazing in their pro photo shoot pictures and any one of them would have brought something new and unique to the Curvy Kate modelling team.

If you want in on the action, the Star in a Bra Australia Competition is now live – if you’re a D+ Australian babe who loves to flaunt her figure in amazing CK lingerie (or even if you don’t yet!), enter here.
Good luck all who go for it! Will there be any Invest In Your Chest readers entering?
