Another favourite display at the Moda exhibition in Birmingham was Curvy Kate. If you read my blog you will no doubt have noticed that I am quite a fan of their sets, and I was excited by the new collection. Although most of the new sets were old designs with new colours, they were gorgeous.
I was particularly attracted to the two new ‘Thrill Me’ sets. The bright colours were jewel-toned, a theme reported to have been prevalent at New York Fashion Week, making the sets band on trend. I personally prefer the purple colour, and am really excited to see that it includes a high-waisted brief: The most fashion conscious set of the exhibition?? Probably.
Press release statement:
Show off your incredible shape with this eye-catching range, in this season’s jewel inspired colours. With an unbeatable lift and shape, the frilly briefs and soft satin fabrics complete this dazzling look.
Two others which stood out were the ‘Tease Me’ sets in silver and wine. I personally preferred the wine colour but the model Lauren Colfer preferred the silver. The press release stated:
Racy Wine and the seductive silver are overlaid with an elegant mesh giving a sophisticated style. Sweet bows and pretty top cup ribbon compliment the cute frills.
As I have said before, Curvy Kate stand out to me as they cater for young, fun busty women. Great news from their 2011 ranges are the expanding of their size range – now catering from a D to a K cup- and they already have a great range of band sizes. A great company with a great ethos; and that really came across from their stall.
Curvy Kate is extending their range of plus size bras from D to K cups for Autumn/Winter 2011. D cups were introduced to continuity styles for Spring/Summer 2011 and due to demand from retailers and distributors the brand has extended this through the full Curvy Kate collection for Autumn/Winter 2011.
