Fantasie Lucia Marie Review

Fantasie Lucia Marie Review

I’m having a bit of a dilemma of what to wear as soon as I (eventually) get out of my festive pyjamas- something that every lingerie fanatic will face today: what lingerie do I wear Christmas day? Option one is Fauve’s lovely Lucia. How adorable is this set?! Fauve, the expensive older sister (think a classy, well behaved, grown up sibling to Freyas rebellious teenager) is a brand that I’ve lusted over but always overlooked, mainly given the price. The exquisite pieces are beautiful and I adore them but as a part time student and struggling writer, they’ve always been just a little put of my price range. When the Leia voucher popped up on (whatever the website was) I jumped at the chance to treat myself, ESPECIALLY when I realised there was a Fauve outlet page. Yipee!

I settled on the Lucia after being drawn it by the kitsch bow and stunning green. Resembling mint chocolate chip ice cream, the blue tone sage green is beautiful, and so very festive, complimented by the brown detailing. And the bow detail is just too cute, my favourite of all the fauve sets. The fabric is deliciously soft and the delicate detailing is almost too.much – it’s no wonder these bras coat considerably more, you cab really see where your.money goes. The fit was great too. This bra is undeniably comfortable and wearable, yet it feels so luxurious and special I find myself saving it for special occasions! I feel very grown up in it that’s for sure. And OK, Fauve may still be out of my price range but as a treat they are perfect – especially when you can pick up a bargain.

Next up is Fantasie’s ‘Marie’ – like Fauve, Fantasie have always been a brand I’ve overlooked. I’ve always been too distracted by Freya sadly, and I’m kicking myself because Fantasie sets are beautiful! Grown up abs sophisticated whilst still being colourful and fun, the delicate detailing makes for some stunning sets. Fantasie were lovely enough to send me this beautiful set as an early Christmas present and I have worn it a bit too much, whinging eery time it goes in the wash. The raspberry colour is so festive and flattering, and the white and cream embroidery sets it off just so. It’s such a comfortable, well fitting bra (perhaps even a better fit than Freya) but the stunning design makes me feel oh so special.
