Curvy Kate Princess Bra Review

This is a bra which I’ve always noticed and been aware of, but never bought as there was always something else kicking about on Figleaves or Brastop which I wanted more. Now I have it though, after for so long being drawn to fun exciting bras with thrills and frills I may have finally found my perfect basic from Curvy Kate. I’ve always loved the brand mainly for their exquisite Showgirl collection, somewhat overlooking their more basic styles (although, that said I do LOVE my Emily bra).
The Princess has subtle but pretty detailing with the polka dots, lace and ribbon trim and cheeky sheer panel. These extra details really wash with me as I like to inject a bit of fun into everything underwear – even a basic.
All these little details went down well, but most of all it is the fit that I enjoy in the Princess. So comfortable, supportive and uplifting and none of the red marks or discomfort around the underarms and straps which I experienced with the Portia. The size 28FF fitted wonderfully.
Another plus point for the Princess is the colour availability: all the basics are down and re-promoted every season, black, nude and white, but always with a fun colour thrown in to spice it up. I’ve got the red version and my friend Jesse previously modelled the stunning indigo colour in her Style File.

Jesse, a 30HH, showcases exactly how this bra works so wonderfully for the larger cup size as well as my own. She claims that it is her favourite bra, giving the best shape and uplift, looks best under clothing and is the most comfortable… and I’m rapidly beginning to see why!
