Curvy Kate are a company that I have been wearing for about a year now. I own a fair few of their sets and are fast-becoming one of my favourite bra brands for an everyday bra. Their sets are cute and so comfortable and really do fit me brilliantly, with a great natural shape. The cup sizes (on me at least) can come up fairly big in some styles – namely the Showgirl Collection – where I tend to have to go up at least one cup size. In Freya and Panache I usually wear a 28FF and in Curvy Kate’s soft cup styles I tend to follow the same rule, but I always have to try before I buy – but that goes for any brand and style.
I certainly don’t care what my bra label says as long as it fits right, it does make buying them a bit tricky. Nonetheless I don’t find it a problem to buy a few and return the ones that aren’t perfect. In this particular style I wear my ‘usual’ 28FF. As I have reviewed Curvy Kate a few times as a whole on my blog; they wash and wear brilliantly and fit great… more specifically the Ella is one of my favourites. The detailing and embroidery is beautiful and great quality. This particular colour scheme is my favourite and probably my favourite bra I own. (I am wearing it as I write this!)
The ivory colour-way is also stunning:
The tutti-fruity mixture of colours is SO pretty and really adds a zing to the ivory bra. This style is fast-becoming not only a favourite from Curvy Kate but a favourite from my underwear collection as a whole. So, all in all, if you wear a 28 back definitely check out Curvy Kate for some cute and comfortable sets which fit brilliantly. As with all brands, try out a range of sizes when you first buy as you may find your ‘usual’ size isn’t the best for you. I buy all my sets from Brastop as they have great deals and reductions as well as a really good range of styles and sizes.
