Since losing over 2 stone last year, it seems like I wear sports bras almost as much as ‘regular’ bras. Exercise was definitely the ‘secret’ behind my weight loss (not really anything ground-breaking, I know!), but with working out 3-4 times per week, you come to truly appreciate how essential a decent sports bra is.
It might still be too cold to be thinking about florals and bra straps on show, but the world of lingerie waits for no one; my 300 denier tights are still going strong, but Spring/Summer collections are just around the corner. Who cares about Christmas, it’s the most wonderful time of the year.
Just imagine; it’s 6am, and you’re waking up on a freezing December morning – you can see your own breath in the room and the thought of leaving your duvet seems about as appealing as swimming with piranhas.

IIYC turns the grand old age of four this month, and to celebrate I’ve teamed up with the guys at the UK Lingerie Awards and Travelodge UK to offer one lucky reader the most amazing prize. I’m giving away a ticket to the highly-coveted UK Lingerie Awards, the flashest, most celebrated, most glamorous event in the lingerie industry calendar. The only catch? You’ll be going along with yours truly.
Last month I was lucky enough to be invited to one of the hottest UK lingerie events: The Cosmopolitan Lingerie Show. This was the first year I’d ever been to the event, and after keenly following blog posts and social media after the event for quite a few years now, it was amazing to be there and wrapped up in this super-glam celebration of lingerie.
